Jonathan graduated from Birmingham University with a first-class honours in music. Through his work in commercials he has won the D&AD Award for Outstanding Use of Music, BTA Craft Award for Best Original Music and IVCA Silver Award for Best Music.

Jonathan recently scored the HBO feature, ‘Primo’, starring Anthony Sher and the BAFTA-nominated short, ‘Candy Bar Kid’. He also assisted the film music orchestrator Christopher Palmer on the orchestrations for Cape Fear.

For theatre Jonathan has composed extensively for the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal National Theatre working with Sir Trevor Nunn, Sir Peter Hall and Sir Ian McKellen.
