RICK OLIVER's Recurring Song is the third installment in a series of limited edition specially packaged singles serving as a taster for his début album.
Playlisted on Xfm from w/c 12th September, this memorable if unpretentious three and a half minute showcases Rick Oliver's burgeoning songwriting skills as well as highlighting his cognisant vocals, which have been compared by some deejays as reminiscent of a young Elvis Costello.
"Man Of The Year" is a non-album track and the package is rounded off with an instrumental version of Love Is Cruel, a drive-time introduction to a key track on his sophomore long player.
('Love Is Cruel', the vocal version, is presented in a slightly different version as a special download only single A-side track, released 8th May 2006).
